By analyzing iconic Surrealist artworks and creating original pieces, our young artists are blending dream imagery with unexpected juxtapositions to reflect their personal and societal fears.
This creative journey not only deepens their understanding of perspective in art, but also engages them in powerful social and emotional learning—tapping into themes of fear, anxiety, and the unknown. Our ALE team, united in orange against bullying. Three in five students with special needs and disabilities are bullied compared to 1 in 5 kids without disabilities.
Today during all four lunches, students faced off against staff in a minute-to-win-it challenge. Participants needed to move as many pieces of cereal as they could from a plate to a cup using chopsticks. Students were chosen at random from those who received a recognition card this month.
