Learning doesn't only happen inside the classroom. Our amazing ALE students had a WILD adventure today at the San Antonio Zoo! 🦁🐒🐘 From roaring lions to playful primates, they explored the animal kingdom and made unforgettable memories.

Mark your calendars for finals! To keep interruptions to a minimum during testing, students can only be signed out at these times:
- Tuesday and Wednesday: 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:20 AM to 1:00 PM
If your student is absent for an exam, they will receive a 1 on their report card until it is completed. Make-ups are only available on Friday, May 30 and Monday, June 2.

Dobie Junior High Honor Band Shines at Bluebonnet Music Festival
Dobie Junior High Honor Band brought home HUGE wins from the prestigious American Classic Bluebonnet Music Festival at Seguin HS! 🏆 They earned a First Division rating, Outstanding Performance, AND Best in Festival! 🎉 Soloist EJ Daniel was also named Outstanding Soloist! Congrats to Director John Robertson (in his first year!), Assistant Director Russell Barbee, feeder school directors, and these incredibly talented students! Their dedication is GOLD! 🎶



Dobie FCCLA came, saw, and CONQUERED! Ten students qualified for Nationals in Orlando this summer!!
1st place- Violet and Hannah- Chapter in Review and Laurel, Audrey, and Bradley- Promote and Publicize FCCLA
2nd Place- Tyler and Mackenzie— Event Management and Elyssa, Zoey, and Danica- Hospitality and Tourism
3rd Place- Zoey, Solomon, and Hector- National Programs in Action and Carly and Sienna- Interpersonal Communications

Our 8th-grade art students have been diving into assemblage art, turning everyday found objects into unique, thought-provoking creations! From discarded trinkets to natural elements, they’ve been piecing together artworks that tell stories in unexpected ways. It’s amazing to see how they transform the ordinary into something extraordinary.
