Samuel Clemens High School

The 98th Texas Junior Amateur Golf tournament was played in late September at White Bluff golf course. Two Clemens Buffaloes, Shiv and Aadi Parmar, competed against the best players in the state of Texas. Senior and Texas A&M commit Shiv Parmar fired a final round 69 to take the championship. Shiv started his final round 5 strokes behind the leader, but came roaring back with birdies on 4 of his last 6 holes to win the championship. His brother Aadi, class of 2027, was also in the field; Aadi finished 13th. This was a big start to what should be a banner year for the Clemens Buffaloes golf team, which begins its season on October 7th at the Smithson Valley Stampede at River Crossing Country Club.
