Green Valley Grizzlies are excited to announce their Teacher and Paraprofessional of the Year! Our teacher of the year, Mrs. Ferguson, has been educating students for the past 26 years. As the head of our special education department, she always goes above and beyond to help all staff and ensure the success of all students. Mrs. Ferguson keeps all students as the priority by ensuring they have what they need to be successful by building relationships with all students.
She comes to work everyday as a team player, a leader, and starts the day off in a positive light.
Mr. Estrada is a team player, always willing to go wherever he is needed, even when that means his schedule changes often. Mr. Estrada puts every child's needs first, has a positive attitude and makes sure each and every student gets exactly what they need to be successful in their academics, as well as emotionally and socially. Mr. Estrada has a great relationship with staff and checks in on his colleagues often to make sure that we are all doing okay and to see if he can help us with anything.
