Michael Keough proudly serves as the Principal of Sippel Elementary School, bringing with him nine years of dedicated service to SCUC. Previously, he held the position of assistant principal at Wilder Intermediate School.

With a total of sixteen years in education, spanning roles as both teacher and administrator, Keough is deeply devoted to nurturing excellence in every student's educational journey. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from UTSA and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Within the SCUC community, Keough is a proud parent, having witnessed two of his children graduate from SCUC ISD, while his twins currently attend 5th grade at Schlather Intermediate School.

Guided by Sydney Harris's insightful words, "The purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows," Keough is a firm believer in the transformative power of education. He is committed to lifelong learning, fostering continual growth and development through collaboration with students, teachers, and parents.

Keough's leadership philosophy revolves around placing students at the forefront of all school-related decisions. With an unwavering dedication to excellence, he eagerly anticipates building upon the successes of Sippel Elementary School. His goal is to ensure that every student receives the support and resources necessary to thrive both academically and personally.

Dana Goetzke is a passionate educator who has dedicated her career to shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning. With a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in College Station and a Masters degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, Dana's educational journey has been marked by a commitment to excellence and a tireless dedication to her students.

Transitioning from the classroom to educational leadership, Dana currently serves as an assistant principal, where she continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and educators alike. Her leadership is defined by a steadfast commitment to fostering a positive school culture, empowering teachers, and creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive and succeed.

Throughout her career, Dana has worn many hats, serving as a coach in basketball, track, volleyball, gymnastics, and swimming, and teaching a diverse range of subjects including 6th - 8th-grade Reading Language Arts, High School Math, and both 4th and 2nd-grade self-contained classrooms.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dana is an avid reader who finds joy and inspiration in the written word. Her love for literature not only enriches her life but also informs her approach to leadership and education, instilling in others a deep appreciation for the power of knowledge and its impact on the world.

Outside of her role as an educator, Dana is a proud mother of three children, ages 21, 18, and 14, who continually remind her of the importance of patience, empathy, and unconditional love. Together with her husband, who shares her passion for education, Dana strives to create a supportive and nurturing environment both at home and in the school community, where every individual is valued and supported in reaching their full potential.
