DIC will advise the Superintendent in reviewing the District’s educational goals, objectives and major district-wide classroom instructional programs. Additional duties include the approval of district professional development plans, federal grant applications, state waiver applications and the recommendation of district instructional calendars to the Board of Trustees.

Voting members who represent campus-based professional staff, parents, business professionals, and community members.

At least two-thirds of the committee must be classroom teachers and/or special populations representatives.

Additional non-voting district and campus representatives will serve as resources to the committee.
