I was born in San Antonio, but grew up in a small town west of San Antonio.  I graduated in December 1997 with my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Education from Angelo State University.  This is my 24th year in Education.  I was in the classroom for 9 years and have a background in Special Education and Early Childhood. While teaching, I attended The University of Texas at San Antonio and completed a Master's Degree in School Counseling.   I have been a Counselor for 15 years with 11 of those being here at Schlather Intermediate and SCUCISD.  

I have two children and many pets.  In my free time, I like to read, spend time with family, and SHOP!
