This will be my tenth year as a school counselor at Green Valley. My passion has always been working with elementary age children and that is where I first began teaching first graders and eventually second and third graders as well. 
I received an Associate's degree from Palo Alto community college before moving on to Texas A&M-San Antonio where I received my Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and eventually my Masters in Counseling. 
I have two amazing daughters ages sixteen and twelve who always keep life interesting ;) My family and I enjoy spending time together at home, going to the beach, and playing with our puppy Presley Grace.

As a school counselor, I will be assisting your children when their behavior or emotions are affecting their academic and social performance in school. Students should always feel that school is a safe place where everyone can learn and be successful.

Throughout the year, I will be visiting your children in their classrooms. School-wide activities and celebrations will be planned and I hope everyone will encourage their children to participate. I also provide ongoing group and individual counseling when needed.
