Serving Grades 7 and 8

J. Frank Dobie Junior High School is a 7th and 8th grade campus in the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District located Northeast of San Antonio, Texas. Dobie Jr. High was built in 1974 as an intermediate school campus, and in 1998, Dobie was "promoted" to a junior high school. With nearly 1,400 students, Dobie excels each year in academics, athletics, and all areas of UIL competition, consistently bringing home the "sweepstakes trophy!" Students can participate in a wide variety of clubs and organizations, such as Athletics, Band, Choir, Drama, National Junior Honor Society, Orchestra, and Student Council.
