Hello, my name is Christy Loomis and I have been a librarian for fourteen years and this is my 12th year working at Dobie! I was raised in San Antonio and received my teaching degree from UTSA and my master’s degree in library science from UNT. I am a huge Star Wars fan, especially the original trilogy, and I love talking about anything related to Star Wars! But reading is my first love…and my favorite genres are Sci-Fi and Fantasy, but I enjoy everything. Junior High is where I want to be and I love students at this age and their sense of humor!
